Professor David Williams from University of Queensland Visits SDUST

 On September the 14th, President Ren Tingqi, together with director of International Office Mr. Zhao Xiangdong, dean of School of Mining Technology Mr. Tan Yunliang and Taishan Scholar Mr. Shen Baotang, met with Professor David Williams from the Geotechnical Engineering Centre of School of Civil Engineering of University of Queensland.

   Mr. Rentingqi extended his warm welcome to Prof. David and introduced to him the basic situations of SDUST and The Mining College. He expressed his thanks to Prof. David for his continuous support and attention towards SDUST.

   Prof. David thanked the president for his warm welcome and introduced about University of Queensland. He hopes that the two sides can strengthen cooperation and establish stable, long-term relationship.

   The two sides also probed into the cooperation in establishing a joint research center.
